No, but the mophie case itself is not waterproof. Phone will be fine, but you will ruin a very expensive case.

No, I do not believe this battery extender is waterproof. There is no mention of that feature in any thing that came with the case.

Have not had to check whether water will affect the battery pack. Hopefully I won't have to find out!

The juice pack for the Galaxy S7 Edge is not water resistant.
