Is this a cartridge or you gotta download it? null

Both. A third of it is on card, the rest is almost 16gb of download.

It's a cartdrige. However, it still require a 17GB download :(

There was a roughly 20gb download on top of the cartridge at startup.

I bought a physical copy (Switch version), but you can buy just the digital version too.

It contains some stuff in the cartridge (some game modes and characters/stages) but you have to download the rest of the game to get the full experience and to play online.
