“Will this camera be compatible with the product number MBP36SPU? We currently have this model and the newer model monitor, but would love to return the newer one and add this camera to the older.”

Hello, It should be compatible. There was a recent redesign of the MBP36S monitor and camera, and this new version is not included as a compatible unit. You can distinguish the newer MBP36S model by its serial number starting with "M36" instead of the previously standard "VT".
