QuestionHinge is crap, no meat, weak and they break very easily, very poor design. Had the HX550 and the hinge never broke. Spoke to Motorola, they discontinued the HX550 and 600. So sorry, as they were both a lot better than the new boom2 and Boom 2+

- Answer I would say the range is about 50 ft. max. I do like it though. I was using a wired set just for the sound quality, and used to have a number of wireless, including Jawbone. I like this because it connects up easily, battery lasts a long time, and doesn't drain my iPhone with the Bluetooth connection.

QuestionI have bought 10 of these. Every single one broke at the hinge. I even went to a wholesaler and bought 3 unopened.Delicate Hinge Bad design! Why not change this hinge/mic mic. issue!? It does not have worth or sustainability!! HELP

- Answer Yes, it will work for music, but because it rests on your ear and not in it, the sound quality lacks big time. No bass either, so I would not recommend for music.
