“Why is Best Buy price cheaper with a 2year contract instead of getting phone from verizon/motorola? Just purchased a phone and 2 year contract from Verizon and the Phone was $549.00 instead of the $249 displayed at Best Buy! I would have thought getting the phone from Verizon/Motoroal would have been cheaper!!!”

This is why it is good to shop around. If you are within 14 days of signing the contract, you can cancel it. I recommend doing that and going with Best Buy. I have had my phone service with them for over 2 years and love it. Typically though, 3rd party vendors are cheaper. Best Buy has a protection plan too if you want to go with that. I personally will never insure with the Geek Squad again but it is a great option if you want it.

Please try again later.i'm unsure about Verizon as I'm a sprint customer but when I called sprint, they're phones don't typically go on sale until they are fazing out of the system. They don't price match either and that is one great deal, especially if you have a trade-in. Sprint will credit your account but not right away. These days, give me the trade-in value now, money is very hard to come by and we consumers are always looking for a great deal!
