Yes it is okay just be sure to let your cable company know that your replacing their module and they will want to know some information about the Motorola and you will be surfing the net in no time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is compatible with most cable systems. I know it is with Comcast/Xfinity in my case. However, it still is set up using your IP address connected to your cable account. So, IF they have CONTROL, I don't even know what that means. It won't work if it is not assigned to your address.
