Yes. We have sketchy cell service in our area, and we use Wi-Fi calling at home. Keep in mind this is not a router, it is a modem only. You still need a separate Wi-Fi router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The modem has nothing to do with WiFi calling... that’s the duty of the router (hence WiFi router)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The short answer is no. The long answer is. This is a cable modem only it does not contain wireless capabilities. Although you can certainly plug in any standard wireless router into it via ethernet and then yes it would most certainly provide Voip Wi-Fi calling capability. Assuming of course that your Internet service provider is compatible with this cable modem i.e. Comcast or Cox cable.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is only a cable modem. It permits you to connect to your internet provider's cable. You can connect this cable modem to a router with Wi Fi capabilities (which you must purchase separately) and if your cell phone provider and internet provider are compatible with Wi Fi calling (most are) you can make Wi Fi calls. The key component here is the router, not the cable modem. This cable modem with a good Wi Fi router does a great job with Wi Fi calling, but you have to have the Wi Fi router also.
