• You don't need a password for the modem. Make sure your service provider is aware of the new modem and switch off the the wifi router and modem after connecting them. Turn on the modem first and wait for it to fully load up, then turn on the router.

• IF YOU ONLY REPLACED THE MODEM AND NOT THE ROUTER YOUR PASSWORD SHOULD BE THE SAME. UNPLUG EVERYTHING TO SYNC THEM ALL TOGETHER.
