• No you cannot on iPhone and I'm certain you can't on an android.

• yes, you can reply to a text message by using your voice or by one of the simple reply text within the watch like "okay" "yes" "can't talk now" etc..or even by drawing a simple imoji using your finger. the watch has voice recognition.
