Yes, the watch will show who is calling your phone. This watch provides notifications for nearly all Android apps - and you can turn them off if you prefer. You can 'answer' the call from the watch, but what it really does is prompt you to pull your phone out. You can't have a conversation via the watch. It does offer the ability to reply via voice to text or email, and offers certain other interactivity with phone apps, but at some point (including phone conversations) the watch will simply prompt you to pull out the phone.
