• Hi Lorie, thanks for your interest. Unlocked means you can use the Moto E with any service provider. Also, If you look at our carrier compatibility list here: https://www.motorola.com/us/carrier-compatibility, the device has been tested and carrier-certified to work on Cricket and Metro. - Mike
