A:Answer I put this phone on Tracfone, switching from another phone we had and keeping the same account, phone number, etc. The SIM card was a different size, so I had to buy a new SIM card from Tracfone--cost all of $1--and follow the directions on the package. It was pretty easy. About a year and a half ago, we moved my wife's Tracfone account onto a Motorola Moto G7 Play. In that case, we did just move the SIM card from the one phone to the new one. Both Moto phones, both existing Tracfone accounts, so I think just moving the card should work (if the sizes are the same), and worst case is that you'd be out $1.
