Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have Sprint and YES you will need a SIM card from them. The easiest way is to call your local Sprint store and let them know you need a SIM card for a Motorola 4e Plus and can you make an appointment to bring it in for set up. The card MIGHT be free. If not it should cost under $20, possible as low as $7. I usually do the set up myself through the Sprint website, but after my 3rd unlocked phone I find it's way easier to call the sotre, ask for a SIM card, and make the appointment for them to set it up. HOWEVER... BEFORE you take it in, do all the other setup yourself... Google account, email, re-install apps, etc.... basically everything but activate the phone calling part. Hope it helps.
