QuestionUS Version vs International versionThe description says its international version, then why Motorola customer care answered for one of the question that its US version. US version of this phone is listed separately on best buy. This is confusing, can someone please confirm if this Global GSM version or US version.

- Answer It should be compatible with most GSM carriers, however, you may want to consider local options, as the warranty would only be valid in the country where it was purchased.

QuestionWhy cant this phone be used with CDMA carriers such as sprint or boost mobile?I currently have a motorola moto g 1st gen and its on boost mobile service and I love it I want to upgrade to the new 2nd gen moto g with the 5in screen so why is the 2nd gen phone not compatible with CDMA carriers?

- Answer Not all 1st generation Moto Gs are compatible with CDMA carriers, either -- only ones specifically made for that purpose. Only GSM Moto G 2nd generation devices are available at this time.

- Answer This device is a GSM unlocked device, so it should be compatible with most GSM carriers. Keep in mind, though, that if you purchase from a US source, it will come with a US warranty.
