The Moto G is a GSM device, so it should be compatible with most GSM networks, depending on what frequency bands they use. You may want to check with the service provider to verify that the device is supported on their network, as that is the real difference between the two versions. The US GSM has support for some bands that are only used by T-Mobile in the US, which are not included in the Global GSM. Please be aware, however, that if you purchase either Moto G from a US site, it will have a US warranty. You may want to consider local options if you can.
