I just ordered this phone directly from Motorola. on their website it is comparable and been tested on AT&T, T-MOBILE, VERIZON. and is both GSM and CDMA. only carriers they show as not compatible are boost and virgin. the model differences are because one modle is 32g ROM and other is 16g.
