Hi DJLC, Thank you for your inquiry. Both the Moto E6 and the Moto G 5G (2024) support nano SIM cards, so you may be able to use the same SIM. However, we recommend checking with your carrier to ensure it's compatible with the newer device, especially if you're planning to use 5G services, which may require an updated SIM. To transfer your information from the Moto E6 to your new Moto G 5G, please follow our step-by-step Guided Assistant here: https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/utils/guided_assistant/g_id/2683. It covers everything you need to move your data, apps, and settings smoothly. Should there be any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to email [email protected]. We'll be glad to help. -Mitch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t know about the sim other than if it is like almost every other Motos, the sim just pops out and back in the new one no problem. Transferring data is as easy as turning on the new phone, plugging in a usb cable between and follow the prompts on the new phone. It will do the rest for you.
