When you purchase a phone that cricket supports, such as the moto g6, a new sim card comes with the phone. You can either call cricket customer service or go to their website and give them the information. The website gives very good instructions as to where and how to find the information needed. Then ask to keep your old phone number. I had to do this with the phone I just bought.
