Hi Celly, thank you for taking the time to post this and for bringing this to our attention. May we know if you are using the original Motorola charger that came with the device? Have you tried to use a different charger, and observe if it behaves also like this? Have you tried to check if you have the latest software update? Go to Settings > System > Advanced > System updates. Your Motorola phone may occasionally get warm, or even hot, you may refer to the link below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikI7cdJCgSE.
