- Answer SafeLink usually only works with the provided phones. It's an Android (if it's not made by Apple, it's not an iPhone). It is fairly easy to transfer from a working Android device to another Android device.

- Answer Yes, you can. You must contact Consumer Cellular after you installed their Subscriber Identity Module, S.I.M.. You can go to The Consumer Cellular internet site to find physical locations that they can put the Subscriber Identity Module, S.I.M. into the smartphone. MAKE SURE TO TELL THE TECH THAT THIS IS A NUMBER TRANSFER, NUMBER "PORT" OR CONSUMER CELLULAR IS GOING TO ISSUE YOU A NEW NUMBER.

- Answer Yes this does work, you must contact Consumer Cellular after you installed the SIM card. If you only have this smartphone contact Consumer Cellular BEFORE you remove the SIM card, then remove the old SIM and install the Consumer Cellular SIM.

- Answer My friend purchased this phone in the US and took it to Ecuador. Because it is listed as Unlocked, she was able to use it there. However, Ecuador has laws that indicate which phones are useable in the country. The website in Ecuador is called (translated) Legal Cell Phones Ecuador. Best to check to see if India has restrictions on certain phones and/or models.
