A:AnswerAS of 7/2/2022 Spectrum reports that Moto G Power 2021 is not compatible with their network. When I entered the IMEI number and when I talked to them it was reported as incompatible. Motorola's site shows it as compatible.
Spectrum offered to sell me a Moto G Pure (probably locked).

A:AnswerHi Vidya, We appreciate your interest in our product. Yes, Our phones should work in countries where you may be traveling, though we cannot guarantee all features are supported. Please check with your mobile service provider to see if your SIM is expected to operate. Please note that we never recommend buying a phone in one region for ongoing use in another as Motorola phones are only in warranty in the country/region in which they are intended for sale. -Mitch
A:AnswerI don't know about consumer Cellular but I'm currently with Verizon wireless prepaid and I've also used cricket and boost Mobile prepaid in the past and I have purchased this phone and others from Best buy unlocked and I did was I took my current phone that was working and I had my cellular provider app on my phone if consumer Cellular has an app you need that app go to the app and put in the name and information of the device that you are going to transfer your phone to if you purchase this phone then you would either scanned the ime number on the box from your phone's camera or enter in the information off the new unlocked phone box into your cellular consumer app and then you'll be ready to take your working SIM card out of your old phone and place it into your new phone and you'll have to have a cord that plugs into your phone and the new phone and you put them together and it transfers the files it's very simple step by step I done it all on my own and I am not tech savvy
You may just want to contact or go online and look up consumer Cellular changing device policy
A:AnswerIn a nutshell no, the chipset that is used on the Moto G power 2021 is not compatible with 5G. If you want 5G need to get a phone that runs Quantum snapdragon 765G chipset or higher. More than likely it will never run 5G because of the limitations of the hardware.
