A:AnswerThank you for expressing an interest in our product. Yes, Our phones should work in Argentina where you may be traveling, though we cannot guarantee all features are supported. Please check with your mobile service provider to see if your SIM is expected to operate. Please note that we never recommend buying a phone in one region for ongoing use in another as Motorola phones are only under warranty in the country/region in which they are intended for sale. -Mitch

A:AnswerUnfortunately No. Since it would require manufacturing different phones for different places, it is not a built-in function of the phone. And due to Liability issues it was not prudent to build that feature into a phone someone could take to a region where it's not legal to record both sides of a conversation without consent.
A:AnswerThank you for reaching out, Kat. The IMEI number is a unique identifier for each Motorola device and is essential for verifying carrier compatibility. You can find the IMEI number on the box of your phone or by navigating to the Settings on the device itself.(Please dial *#06# or go to Settings > About phone > Status > IMEI/MEID information) Since you need the IMEI to check compatibility with your carrier, you'll need to have the phone in hand to retrieve this information. For further assistance on carrier compatibility, please visit the following link: https://www.motorola.com/us/carrier-compatibility. -Mitch

A:AnswerBeware, beware, beware.... I am shopping for a new Motorola phone right now to replace the 2020 Moto G(7) Supra I am retiring. I bought it unlocked and used it on Cricket. The problem is it was shipped with Android 10 and has the latest update on 2-10-2021.
The phone is GREAT. or was. Now I can't transfer it to another carrier because the Android version is too old and not supported and the phone is now weirdly locked(read not-supported) by Motorola. Therefore, in order to keep my same number and port to a new carrier, my current carrier is sending me a free phone with Android 14 and helping me port it to a new carrier.
A bit nice on there part. All said, there were issues dealing with their Customer Support, the issue remains Motorola not upgrading software levels like other manufacturers do.
I WAS shopping here hoping that had changed since I loved my MOTO G. Now, reading your response, is sending me back to Samsung....
Just being up front with you!
