The G - Series only gets 1 android upgrade, if you want better, you need to buy a Edge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Beware, beware, beware.... I am shopping for a new Motorola phone right now to replace the 2020 Moto G(7) Supra I am retiring. I bought it unlocked and used it on Cricket. The problem is it was shipped with Android 10 and has the latest update on 2-10-2021. The phone is GREAT. or was. Now I can't transfer it to another carrier because the Android version is too old and not supported and the phone is now weirdly locked(read not-supported) by Motorola. Therefore, in order to keep my same number and port to a new carrier, my current carrier is sending me a free phone with Android 14 and helping me port it to a new carrier. A bit nice on there part. All said, there were issues dealing with their Customer Support, the issue remains Motorola not upgrading software levels like other manufacturers do. I WAS shopping here hoping that had changed since I loved my MOTO G. Now, reading your response, is sending me back to Samsung.... Just being up front with you!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I expect it to. Though Motorola has to make the update compatible with their specs, they should only be bound by how many updated OS releases are offered by Giggle

We strive to provide the best possible experience for our users, including software updates. While our focus remains on delivering timely security updates and enhancements to our devices, the frequency and number of major OS updates can vary based on several factors. We continually assess the feasibility and compatibility of new OS updates for our devices. Our goal is to ensure a stable and optimized user experience with each update we provide. While we can't guarantee a specific number of OS updates, we do consider customer feedback as we plan future software updates.
