However, with RAM Boost, the phone can use a portion of the internal storage to virtually expand the RAM up to 24GB total (8GB physical + up to 16GB virtual). Best Buy’s listing refers to this maximum combined RAM capacity when RAM Boost is enabled. This feature helps enhance multitasking and overall performance, especially during heavy use, but it’s important to note that only 8GB is physical RAM.
