Pantone is an industry wide way of identifing colors...a standartization. Pantone colors are used in offset printing so that if you have something printed in 2 or more locations the colors will match. Pantone is also used in display screens (TV, cell phones) to help colors be consistent from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The Moto G Power 2026 – PANTONE Evening Blue simply means the device comes in the “Evening Blue” color, which has been precisely matched using Pantone’s color system for consistency. This designation is only about the phone’s color and does not affect its features or performance. -Mitch

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a company that provides a standardized color catalog used all over the world in print and digital. When an item says it has a Pantone color, that means it's a specific color and not just a general "dark blue" or whatever color example.
