Thank you for your question about the Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 phone, Sherry. The device comes with 8GB of RAM. While it does not support physical expansion to 16GB, it features a virtual RAM option that can effectively enhance performance by using available internal storage. This allows the device to optimize multitasking and app performance. To utilize this feature, simply ensure you have sufficient free storage on your device. The system will automatically manage the allocation of virtual RAM as needed, so there's nothing specific you need to do. You can check this link for the phone's specifications here: https://www.motorola.com/us/smartphones-moto-g-stylus-5g-gen-4/p?skuId=1105. -Mitch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this Motorola 2024 5G Stylus with 256Gig and 8 Gig RAM and I do not see a way to upgrade the RAM. I did however install a 512Gig Micro SD card and it works fine. It would be nice if we could share some of the internal 256Gig memory or some of the Micro SD card memory to boots the RAM like buffer memory. My micro sim is fast for watching 4K videos from so it could work as buffer memory to pre buffer data and post buffer data.
