Be careful. Some carriers require alot of information when trying to have your number ported to another carrier. I thought I had all my info but AT&T wouldn't allow T-Mobile to receive my number to be ported over. So I had to request a whole new number from T-Mobile. If your phone is an unlocked phone it's easier to switch phone carriers. Some carriers do not allow phones either to be carried over and want you to purchase their phones
