• Theoretically yes. It really depends on two things though. First, the SIM card must be the same size. Second, you might have to tell T-mo that you switched phones. Just make sure that your unlocked phone uses the same network protocol and you should be good to go.

• If by mobile phone you mean a cellular phone, yes it should work instantly, if you are within reach of your service provider (At&t, Verizon, etc)
