I've had several Motorola phones over the years with no issues myself, but there's always a chance you can get a lemon with any electronics. Lenovo is has really improved on the Motorola design. I have the Moto Z Force Droid and it's an excellent phone. The G5S plus is honestly is on par with that phone for a lot less money, with even better features than the Moto Z in certain areas. If you get the $299 model you get 4 GB of ram, which is unheard of @ $299. The octacore 2.0 ghz cpu and 4 GB of ram will take anything you throw at it. You will find it will be extremely fast. The screen quality is also excellent, again unmatched by anyone else at this price point. It is missing NFC, so if you require that option you might not want the phone. The Moto G5 isn't anything like the G4 or lower series, it's a completely different phone all together. Take a look at the Moto Z line and you'll find it's just a slightly stripped version of those. You can check out the Motorola website to get the complete specs. Also, if you want to check out some reviews I personally like GSM arena. You can compare multiple models of phones against one another, along with reviews. Also, techradar I believe has some reviews up for the Moto G5S plus as well.
