This is a universal unlocked phone. Which means it will work on Verizon and other top carriers. Just an unlocked phone will not, it has to be universal. We purchased the phones in the store but they did not have them in the 64GB so had to be ordered. They arrived at my door 2 days later in factory sealed packaging. I got the black one and my wife got the oyster blush. The oyster blush I must say is a beautiful champagne color that makes the phone look even more high end. We have had these phones for about a month now and I still say they are an awesome deal for the money. No activation fee either just remove your sim card from your old phone and put it in this one and go through your usual set up. Be ready to transfer your data wirelessly with an app you can download and do it when it prompts you to do so because if you pass on it you may not be able to do the transfer later and will have to enter things like your contacts and picture manually or on an sd card. You don't need a $1000 dollar phone to have a great one! Good luck!
