Yes, it should. I use it on Page Plus and have no issues and they use the Verizon towers.

Yes , it will work with Verizon...That is what I currently have....I would advise that you back up your contacts & stuff in google cloud . I had huge problems with my Moto G5 updating cloud...Still not sure if Verizon or phone issue...So far, my Moto G6 is doing fine.
