How come this phone is only available for use with Verizon on Bestbuy.com? Shouldn't it be compatible with all major U.S. carriers? When you choose to activate now it only gives you one choice (Verizon) null

If you choose "Activate later" and pay the full price rather than the discount, then it will work with all major carriers and most MVNOs also.

It is an unlocked phone and can be used switch any provider to the best of my knowledge. I am an AT&T customer and had no difficulty setting up. As for the discount you will need to request in store. I did receive a $25 deduction for activating in store. I hope this helps
