• Yes, I purchased mine for Republic Wireless. You will need buy a $5 Sim card from Republic Wireless though to work on their network. After you install their Sim card and register (or sign in) you will be all set and save a lot of money over the other cell phone companies.

• The box does have "XT1925-6" listed on it. It also says MO# XDAM18826B2P. Hope that helps you. Sorry I can't answer the question about Republic as I don't know what that is. In my area, Republic is a trash service.
