• It's advertised as not being locked at all. And according to Motorola's own website: "Moto’s unlocked phones are carrier-friendly so you can move among major U.S. carriers by just swapping SIM cards. • Hi Freddy, thanks for reaching out. Moto G6 is unlocked to all major carriers. We are not sure if Verizon will be able to unlock it once paid off. What we can assure is, it is an unlocked version once you purchased it from the website. -Jhei
