• Hi brandik9, No. The projector uses the speakers in the phone for audio output and can also be used with headphones or paired with a Bluetooth speaker of any kind. -Jess

• The projector mod does not have a speaker. The phone speaker will be used when connected but the phone can connect to an external speaker via Bluetooth with or without the projector mod. It works great
