Customers recognize the Moto Insta Share Projector's exceptional picture quality and ease of use, with many praising its surprisingly large projection size for its compact form. However, some users point to limitations in battery life and brightness, along with occasional difficulties in focusing the image. A few also mention the projector's tendency to overheat during extended use and a relatively high price point.

This is a great projector for the size and coming from the phone. I use it all the time with the kids watching movies. I think it is a little over priced, however motorola is the only company I know of that has these phones so they can charge what ever they want. All in all this is a great mod and I would buy again if I needed. Note, there is not a protection plan for this offered though. It would be nice.

Got this projector so that I could watch and breakdown game film. The picture is awesome. If you can get a dark enough room, you can project greater than 70 inches easy. Wish the speaker was a little louder though. After an hour the projector gets hot.

I was not too sure of this purchase. There were very few reviews and the demonstration models were not very impressive. But the idea and promise sounded great and I had to give it a try. I bought it just before a camping trip to Eastern Washington and thought it might be a cool thing to watch movies outside in the warm Summer nights. Well I fired up the phone/projector and linked it to my Bluetooth speaker and pressed the play button on my phone. WoW the picture was fantastic and the keystone feature took a little while to kick in but once it did we had a brilliant sharp image with booming sound and it all started with this moto mod projector. What a great thing to have movies on a warm night with the family and newly made friends. Convenient, compact and great picture that exceeded my expectations.

The paint i have is semigloss and it had nice picture watched YouTube videos and picture slide shows, videos of my own for about an hour on the projector battery before it said to charge or it would run on phone battery i haven't tried to let it run on phone battery yet, so try it out .i myself like it hope this helps

I bought this for my husband after he bought the new Moto X call phone. The price is steep, but the projector is amazing. He loves to download movies so we can watch it on the wall as a family. He will lay in bed at night and watch a movie on the ceiling! It's neat for a cell phone mod!

I needed a new phone for a while. But at the end of the day mine did what I needed it to; social media, photos, and music. So it was hard to get excited about any of the phones out there. I am not a tech guy so it takes a bit to get me interested. Then the Moto Z came out. Different, big fan of different. But I am an AT&T user. So I couldn't get it. Then the unlocked came out. I bought it day one with ALL the mods. I use the extra battery every day. It is nice to go to work then come home and place the battery on a wireless charger and still have a fully charged phone in my hands. The speaker is awesome. I use it on my motorcycle. The projector is useful and fun. Sometimes I just lay in bed a project a show on the ceiling. The camera I have not used yet but I am excited about it. All that being said, my 15 year old asked for a new phone for Christmas. So I bought her the Moto Z play. You will not find a better $400 phone. All in all big fan. Functional, fun, well built, looks great. I will never buy a phone from a service provider again. Get the geek squad protection and enjoy owning your phone.

I have unpacked and projected over my wall with videos and pictures from my phone. It's a handy one which is very awesome and my daughter loved seeing her in a bigger screen and image and video quality was too good where I can project upto 65+ size with an excellent quality with all my lights turned off. Clarity was good even with my lights turned on.

This was a great little projector while it lasted. Full walk videos for outside movie night in a small package.
Automatic keystone takes balancing the projector perfectly every time off the table.
I say while it lasted because I have used it non stop for over a year. As expected, over time, the bull starts to dim and the automatic keystone began to get a bit off. When I say non stop, I mean, simply because of the screen size and the convenience, this turned into my evening television.
Don’t be afraid to buy one, just maybe don’t abuse it like I did.

This was purchased as a gift for my girlfriend and needless to say...SHE LOVED IT!!! Her daughter is a dancer and the videos of her recitals are so much better when they're being viewed on a large screen, not just on her fone!

This is an awesome mod. Although it is not bright during the day, night time is perfect. The image projected is really clear even when projecting large scale (5'x8')... Yes 5 feet by 8 feet. Totally worth every penny. I would recommend this to friends. In fact, they ask if they can get one for their phones. I do tell them "no, because you have an iPhone"...8-p

I have used this at work, from my bed, on my couch, and even from my hot tub. (not waterproof, don't be ridiculous I put it next to the hot tub, safely away from water). This projector snaps on like other Moto Mods, setup is automatic except for an occasional adjustment to the focus wheel. It looks amazing in a dark room. Set it up to Bluetooth speaker or personal headphones and you have a true portable theater experience. I LOVE it!

The device is quiet and has great picture quality. Great battery life for a movie. The sound still comes out of the phone so I'd recommend hooking up to a Bluetooth speaker or aux.

Amazingly powerful little pico projector. I'm very surprised at the picture brightness and quality. Sure, there are pixels, but the thing weighs less than the phone so what can you expect. The projector has an internal battery that lasts about an hour and then the projector draws power from the phone - you can watch a full length movie easily and still have enough battery left to take calls etc. Great for the cabin, camping, hip-pocket work presentation, or a trade show where there's no place to plug in a projector or lap top, and even for Halloween fun. Not for everyday home theater use, but handy nonetheless.

This projector was really cool to use. It was great picture quality for me and very simple setup. Worked well in dim and dark lighting. I was very weary of it falling off and breaking not that it felt fragile but vulnerable attached to my phone. The battery life didn't last much longer than an hour without using my phone's battery. I returned this product after thinking the battery life wouldn't suffice for my needs.

Overall a good performer, kind of unique. I would prefer longer battery life and better resolution, but a good buy and good accessory for a phone.
