I purchased my x4 in 10/29. I use it with AT&T and it has no ads from Amazon. The phone is unlocked and has no carrier bloatware to deal with. IT is as close to a pure android experience as you can get at this price point. IF you want a phone that performs well with the latest features, without breaking the bank, the X4 might be a good choice for you.

If you are buying it directly from Best Buy it will not have Amazon ads. Amazon sells two versions of the device. One with ads and one without.

Only if you but the Amazon Prime version. If you buy unlocked at Best Buy, it doesn't.
