- Answer I recommend search online for that including with the unique identifier info, like full model, or identity/price code/# like UPC, GTIN, EAN (can also help find the full model). To help insure applies to this exact model & build/config/edition. I have not seen info about Best Buy editions specially preventing this, like Amazon editions; this is true Android One build from manufacturer. I wonder too since this model says only at Best Buy (how different?). Otherwise Moto X4 (carrier) unlocked are usually rootable & bootloader unlockable. I have not tested.

QuestionI see that the price is lower with activation but it doesn't stay actitive with which service. What if I have TracPhone and want to continue with Trac Phone with the new phone??

- Answer Activation is with one of the big three, ATT, Sprint or Verizon. I have Straight Talk, had to buy a SIM kit for BYOP (Bring tour own phone). Similar to TracFone. Have to buy an unlocked phone (paying more) but the TracFone (or Straight Talk) will eventually save you money.

- Answer Yes, the Moto X4 has wifi calling. And since it is Android One, you will also have Android 9.0.
