will this phone work with total wireless null

It did not work for me with two different Total Wireless sim cards. And Total wireless tech support couldn't tell me why, just that "Sim cards go bad". They claim that the one they are mailing me will magically work, so I'm waiting for that magic card. Not holding out much hope though
