No it does not, but it uses Motorola's active display feature to notify users of incoming notifications.

If you mean some blinking light n top, no. but all notifications are displayed on screen, if you set daydream. Also you do not need to press little button on right to unlock. You just select notification and it will ask for your PIN OR slide pattern.
