• You will need to provide a SIM for whatever service you want to use this with. I bought a nano SIM from Ting and also a nano to micro sim adapter.

• Yes, you have to order one separately. That's actually a huge benefit about unlocked phones; you get to buy whatever sim card you want, from the carrier of your choice. (And in case you were wondering, that's what "unlocked" means. You can use the sim card from your favorite service provider.)

• My husband bought the "UNLOCK MOTO G 4TH GEN PLUS" in October from Best Buy. Can't remember whether there was a sim card, but if so, it did not work with Tracfone. Maybe it would have been OK with Verizon or Samsung. Even after we used a "Tracfone" sim, there was a great deal of difficulty in getting it programmed. If your RFRB suggests a provider, they might offer a free sim card when you sign up.

• Yes, you have to order a sim card from your mobile carrier. Fyi I originally activated the Straight Talk Verizon 4g LTE network sim card and was not able to get 4g LTE service. After reading many forums with people having the same issue I activated the Straight Talk AT&T sim card and I have had 4g LTE with no issues. Hope that helps

• Yes, you need to get a SIM card from your carrier. Unlocked phones from retailers do not have SIM cards because the cards are specific to a carrier.
