• Short answer, yes. They worked really well for us on the carnival dream. We were able to pretty much use the call feature and communicate to the most common areas of the ship. We had a cove balcony room on the 2nd floor and could communicate to the Lido deck on floor 10 and other points within the belly of the ship, including the casino, lounges and dining rooms. They were ideal for the shore excursions as well.
