• We actually got a half a mile maybe and that's about it. It says "up to 35 miles". It has a button for longer communication but it's maybe a quarter miles longer. It was a disappointment for us.

• Our walkie talkies did not work at my friends House to our house and it is just under 2 miles. However it is heavly wooded area. It did work In out camp very well

• It claims to work up to 35 miles but it is dependent on the terrain and location.
