“I need to mount to the side of a lectern to position a monitor horizontally. So, it would be mounted with the bracket rotated 90 degrees from how it is shown. Must lock each joint into position, incl the bracket joint. Is this possible with this one?”

Hi CadesCove, As long as your monitor is 30" or less this mount will allow you to swivel the monitor 90 degrees to the side, and lock the position in place using the tightening knobs at the joints.
