• So, I bought this after the other answer was inadequate. The real answer is: it will depend on the thickness of your monitor, but mine, with an HPq monitor is 8 inches from the wall to the front of the screen. It could be 1-2 inches less if your monitor were thinner. This is with the back of the v-shape flush with the wall.

• Hello Livinge, the pole measures 18.25" the v plate front to back measures 11.5" and the v plate side to side measures 15.5"
