The mount is specifically engineered to be installed vertically to properly manage the weight of the TV and the tension of the tilt mechanism. Rotating the mount 90 degrees would cause the TV to sag to one side and could potentially lead to hardware failure. For a secure and level setup, please ensure the wall plate is mounted vertically onto a single stud.
