it may be a little hard to get them to pair with your TV but once you get that done they will work great. BTW, that is how I use them so I do not interrupt other people while I work out.

I DO know, for a fact, that the Senheiser's work perfectly for people hard of hearing both with/wo hearing aids. My dad can wear the Sens from room to room as well, and still listen to tv. He can adjust volume independently of the tv's volume, he can hear even when my mother mutes the tv. Unfortunately, the Senheisers are substantially more expensive than the brand here —but so worth it. Dad says these are "practically magic" in how they have improved his tv life and eliminated both his and my mom's discomfort/annoyances while watching the television together. He even bought a second headset as a backup as well as for a friend that visits and is also losing the ability hear. Please forgive my hijacking this listing, but I believe all hard of hearing people should know about the Senheiser choice since it's nearly perfect. Losing one's hearing is socially debilitating —these headphones help. It is certainly possible that those listed here also do a good job; I just don't know.
