Hi, I encourage you to check your water level. I have forgotten to do this myself...needed coffee before making the coffee. Double-check water level in the left water reservoir and open the carafe to ensure it's clean and ready to use. I've not used delay-brew as our friend, above has offered. The round button should do it for you. Let us know how you are with your maker now that it has been a week since your question.
