“Does the carbon water filter need to be changed? How often and where can I find it?”

• Does it NEED to be changed? I don't know. We purchased a bag of a couple of dozen on Amazon. (They were cheap) and we put in a new one every month. They sit on top of the "basket" and are not in some hard to find place.

• The water filter on this model is a disk that goes over the coffee. It needs to be changed occasionally, but its use is optional.
