That was my exact reason to give it a shot... All I can say is that theoretically it appears possible but functionally my lifetime of computer usage was unable to even enable the thunderbolt port. Nor was I technically experienced enough to even submit a help request on their website, let alone download the most recent drivers. Drivers that apparently are necessary prior to using the basic features. It is a very different experience than you get with most Windows laptops, or at least, any laptop I've used during my 13 years post college working with them. I truly dislike being negative towards a company but hopefully it will help people who try to do exactly what I did and give this impressive laptop a shot. If anyone else is frustrated getting this thing to work, please understand that neither myself nor a friend who works in the IT department could even submit a help request ticket to MSI. The gold plated headphone jack was cool looking though.
